The Naming of Storms
The naming of storms is a difficult matter
It isn't just one of your holiday games
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
When I tell you that storms have three types of names
First of all, there's the name that the researchers use daily
Such as Franklin, Alberto, Karen or Sally
Such as Victor or Oscar, Gordon or Tammy
All of them sensible, everyday names
There are fancier names if you think they sound sweeter
Some for the gentlemen, some for the dames
Such as Gaston, Lorenzo, Ophelia, Katia
But all of them sensible everyday names
But I tell you some storms have a name that's particular
A name that's peculiar, and more rec

*Prologue: Faces in the Dark ~The Twins Dream~*
In the dream, which both twins had been having every night for over seven years, they were standing on a field that was covered in thick fog. In the grayish air around the field, they could see a sea of faces watching them. None of the faces had recognizable features, but the dreamers felt as though they were the most beautiful faces they had ever seen. Yet, the faces seemed very sad and lonely. They were looking for love, for a purpose, but were unable to find it; the black-and-white field had something to do with this, the twins sensed, and that made them angry. The faces had reached th
Are you sure this is the right way?
Black-haired, hazel-eyed Stephanie had every reason to be skeptical; they had been wandering the dark, labyrinthine halls for what seemed like hours.
Alexander sighed, running his hands through his blond hair as they reached another corner and started down another line of doors. Im not so sure anymore, he admitted, blue eyes wandering down the line of identical doors that stretched into the dark. They had been looking for the main entrance, but there were no signs, and all the halls looked the same; even what floor they were on was a mystery. The power blackout did nothing to

The Moose Whisperer
When I was in high school, my parents and I traveled around the country in an Airstream trailer. My father took early retirement, and, as I was homeschooled, we took my lessons with us. We went to all forty-eight continental states and even went up into Canada. It was there, in the wilds of Ontario, that my father surprised my mother and I with an exercise in uncanny animal magnetism.
Towing a trailer meant that we could stop anywhere there was room and use the facilities, all but eliminating the need for conventional rest areas. Canada had nice wide patches of asphalt on the side of their highways, with plenty of room for a trailer. We stop

Two new messages, and nine old messages.
"Hey, it's me. I just found this lovely garden statue today! It's an angel that's crying, and it looked so pretty that I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! I put it in the front garden oh, it sounds like someone's at the door! Catch you later!"

Good night!
Sleep tight!
And pleasant dreams to you!
Here's a wish
And a prayer
That every dream comes true!
And now, till we meet again
Adios!
Au revoir!
Aufwiedersein!
Good night!

Pokemon Energy Manipulation
As everyone knows, Pokemon are capable of manipulating spectacular amounts of energy; however, this unique and magnificent trait is not entirely due to the Pokemon's physical organ systems and adaptations, but also to a little-understood manipulation of antimatter and 'grid energy', a postulated energy field dividing the universe from a mirroring anti-matter universe.
In particle physics, antimatter is composed of antiparticles in the same way that normal matter is composed of particles. Thus, mixing matter and antimatter can lead to the annihilation of both, giving rise to high-energy photons (gamma rays) or other particle-antiparticle pair
